Underlayment

screeds or commonly called Traditional or manual Screed mix are still the commonly used method of filling the gap between the structural slab of a building and the defined finished floor. Gray’s experienced / professional staff and operatives have laid thousands of m2 succesfully.

Instead of traditional screed methods like Dry Screed, Semi Dry Screed or Manual Mix / handmix screed systems, Gray`s “Self-Compacting” concrete / screed comes with fast, Clean QAQC Approved system, As it is fast, high quality process. Fast Setting and Durable for follow on Trades. Gray`s S.C Screed is achievable 400-700M2 at single casting.

Light Weight

Foam Concrete

For certain Projects Specification The difference between Structural Slab and floor finishes gap is relatively thick so Gray Floors offer Light Weight/Foam concrete with various compressive strength to cover the gap and then Screed to receive finishes.

Self

Levelling

Self Levelling is typically used to create a flat or smooth surface where surface is imperfect, usually installed,in 3-5mm thickness for certain floor finishes such as Epoxy, vinyl etc, Gray Floors can give you that added quality assurance that there are no surface imperfections by applying a separate layer of "self levelling" compound.

Slab Raft Finish

As a cost saving technique contractors are powerfloating on slab raft to use as finish floor surface, Gray Floors offers a professional powerfloating service for the contractor as a smooth or rough surface as per required surface finishes.
